Indonesia's government has identified seven key creative economy sectors—games, digital applications, fashion, culinary, crafts, films, and music—as national priorities through 2029. The investment in this sector is significant. In the first half of 2025 alone, investment in the creative economy reached Rp90 trillion, equivalent to 66% of the full-year target of Rp136 trillion (about US$8.2 billion).
