This season takes a darker, highly stylized turn into Japanese mythology. The main antagonist is Tarakudo, the King of the Shadowkhan. The J-Team must locate nine mystical Oni Masks scattered across the world. When worn, these masks allow the wearer to summon different tribes of shadow-warriors, but they also slowly corrupt the wearer's soul. Season 5: The Demon Powers
