Thorin confronts Azog, is defeated, and is saved by Bilbo. Thorin accepts Bilbo as part of the company just as the Eagles arrive.
The company is pursued by a pack of Goblins and Wargs (giant wolves). They climb trees to escape, setting fire to pinecones to throw at the wolves. As the trees begin to fall and fire surrounds them, Gandalf calls for help from the Great Eagles.
