For a beach setting, heavy silks and stiff fabrics can be impractical. Megha often opts for lighter, more breathable materials like chiffon, georgette, or soft cotton that move gracefully with the sea breeze. These fabrics not only look ethereal but are also comfortable for a day out in the sun.
Golden hour (sunset). The Look: A drape-heavy Baluchari or Bengal Silk in a deep wine/russet shade. While silk is heavy, Megha used a trick to make it beach-appropriate: she reduced the number of pleats and used a contrasting, shorter blouse.
